Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk Becomes Gold Export Champion

In an award ceremony attended by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan via teleconference, awards were presented to the top companies in jewelry exports. Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk, which has become one of the most important actors not only in the jewelry sector but also in the Turkish economy with its breakthroughs in recent years, has become Turkey's gold export champion.

At the 'Leaders in Jewelry Export' award ceremony held at the Turkish Exporters Assembly, where Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan participated via teleconference, Turkey's largest jewelry exporters received their awards from TİM President İsmail Gülle and jewelry Exporters Association President Mustafa Kamar. Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk, which has become one of the most important actors in the Turkish economy, received the 'Turkey's largest gold exporter' award. Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk, which single-handedly accounts for a significant portion of its sector's total exports, has once again left its mark on the peak of exports this year.

Answering questions from members of the press at the event organized within the framework of COVID-19 measures, Ahlatcı Holding Chairman Ahmet Ahlatcı said:

At the top with $1.3 billion in exports

As Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk, we continue to grow in both domestic and foreign markets. With the $1.3 billion in exports we achieved last year, we are Turkey's largest gold exporter. I would like to thank all our colleagues who contributed to this success.

Just a few years ago, we realized our giant gold factory, which has the most advanced technology in its field. Gold processed in Çorum, in the heart of Anatolia, now adorns the elegance of women all over the world. This is also a source of pride for us. With the figures we have put forward, we can now easily say that 'Çorum has become the hub for jewelry exports'.
